Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes, I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to discuss your therapeutic needs, to see if we’d be a good fit to work together, determine availability and answer any questions you might have.
How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?
Having a therapeutic relationship in which you feel supported is the most important factor on the effectiveness of therapy. While we can’t be 100% sure if we are the perfect fit until we begin our work together, we can discuss whether my therapeutic approaches are best suited for your needs.
Do you see clients in-person or online?
I see clients both in-person and online through a secure tele-health platform. Choosing which form of therapy is best for you depends on your individual needs including therapeutic presence, scheduling and other factors. We can discuss this during our consultation call. Due to licensure requirements you must reside in Texas.
What is your rate?
My rate is $170 for a 50-minute individual or couples session.
I offer limited sliding scale slots for queer, transgender and people of color.
Do you accept insurance?
While I currently do not accept any form of insurance, I am happy to provide you with a superbill which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Call your insurance to ask them what out of network benefits you may have. Many clients do not know that they can get a large percentage of their therapy expenses reimbursed by their insurance company even if their therapist is out of network.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I use a HIPAA compliant payment service through which I can accept credit and debit card, HSA and FSA card payments.
What are your hours?
Telehealth: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 10am-5pm.
In-person: Tuesdays 10am-5pm.
What is your cancellation policy?
My cancellation policy requires a 24 hour notice. The full fee will be charged in cases where we are unable to reschedule within the same week.
