QTBIPOC Therapy

My practice aims to serve people of color, immigrants, those within the LGBTQ community and others experiencing marginalization through anti-oppressive therapy services. Many of my clients identify within the intersections of these identities. Having to endure pervasive trauma through systemic oppression, hostile environments, implicit bias, lack of acceptance, isolation and more, my clients get the message that the world is unsafe.

I know first hand what it’s like to feel like you have to leave part of yourself at the door because you’re not fully accepted for who you are. I know what it’s like to feel the exhaustion of pouring all of yourself into trying to make the world a more accepting and just place only to be disappointed with the direction that it’s trending.

I offer my clients a relational space in which we can explore their identities through an intersectional, anti-oppressive lens so they can step fully into themselves. I don’t have all the answers, but I sit with my clients to work through the despair of feeling the weight of the world on their shoulders. Everyone deserves to fulfill the deep desire of being accepted, valued and to live in peace.
